If you’ve ever been a manager preparing for an acquisition, then you are well aware of the concerns your customers and your team may have about the upcoming changes. Customers are concerned about service disruptions, the team is concerned about acceptance, and naturally, managers are concerned about everyone else being concerned.

I’ve had a chance to meet and work with several people from The Planet to support this integration, and I couldn’t be more impressed with their helpfulness and professionalism. This cross section of The Planet’s family has made me excited to meet The Planet’s 500 or so other employees in the coming weeks.

Touch Support brings a tremendous support and administration services background to The Planet’s family and a reputation that is second to none. The Planet’s customers are going to be very excited about the new services we can help roll out, and existing Touch Support customers will see the fruits of all the new resources we’ll gain from The Planet, which will help our team provide an even higher quality of service.

    I am finding alot of blogs content theft via scripts lately.
    these sites known as Splogs have been a nuisance. Many of them have their I.P addresses hosted to the ThePlanet.com or ThePlanet.com incorperated.

    When I do get a chance to E-mail the of the Splogs account holder, these people do not seem to understand what a splog,blog scraper is, coypright law, or that they would even know how to set these scripts up. in fact their knowledge is very limited on web sites.

    So i am wondering, who IS setting these up for customers using hosting plans like The Planet.

    The Planet does not monitor the content their customers place on their servers — until a DCMA or abuse issue is raised. As for who is setting them up – you’ll find that all web hosting companies have problems with spammers and they are the ones to blame – not the hosting provider.

    I can’t really say that the acquisition is the best move for everyone involved. Not for the customers!
    You need to cut down the respons time from 1-6 hours to 15min max on urgents matters…..and find more possible ways to contact you when you ain’t answering tickets for 6-10 hours!
